Slovenia Imposes Travel Ban on Israeli PM Netanyahu

Slovenia has imposed a travel ban on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, citing the ongoing war in Gaza and alleged grave violations of human rights.

According to the government’s statement, the restrictions will also apply to other Israeli officials deemed responsible for aggressive actions against the Palestinian people.

Slovenia formally recognized the State of Palestine last year, and in August this year, it also banned arms exports to Israel and prohibited the import of goods from Israeli-occupied Palestinian territories.

This move reflects growing criticism within Europe over Israel’s policies, with several countries viewing Israeli military actions and settlement expansions as violations of international law.
