The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a weather alert for parts of Sindh, including Karachi, anticipating light to moderate rainfall on September 30. At the same time, the mercury in Karachi is expected to soar to 38 °C on Monday.

According to the forecast, rain and dust storms are likely in the districts of Tharparkar, Umerkot, Badin, Sujawal, Thatta, Tando Mohammad Khan, and Hyderabad. Isolated rainfall is also expected between September 29 and 30 in Jamshoro, Matiari, Mirpurkhas, and Sanghar.

Earlier this month, Karachi experienced light rain and drizzle in areas like I. I. Chundrigar Road, Saddar, and Garden. Those showers were attributed to moist winds and sea clouds traveling inland from the Arabian Sea.
