The Sindh government has announced the promotion of teachers and non-teaching employees of the School Education Department to the next grade, officials confirmed on Saturday.

According to a notification, all regional offices have been directed to prepare and submit seniority lists of eligible staff by October 15. These lists will then be reviewed by divisional directors before being forwarded to the department for final approval.

The promotion process will cover high school teachers, subject specialists, and various non-teaching personnel serving under the department.

Once the seniority lists are finalized, a Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) meeting—chaired by the Secretary of School Education—will review and approve the promotions.

Officials said the initiative aims to resolve long-standing delays in staff promotions and ensure timely career advancement for education employees across Sindh.
