Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has officially inaugurated the province’s first-ever Mobile Police Station and Licensing Unit Project. The opening ceremony was attended by various officials, where the Chief Minister thoroughly inspected different sections of the project and also interacted with the staff.

According to the details, the mobile police station will offer a range of services to citizens, including the registration of First Information Reports (FIRs), issuance and renewal of driving licenses, and other related services.

The unit will also provide facilities for learner’s, regular, international, and women’s driving licenses.

The mobile police stations will serve various locations, including girls’ education centers, working women’s areas, and remote regions, thereby ensuring convenience and saving time for the public.

During the event, CM Maryam Nawaz handed over the keys of the Mobile Police Station and Licensing Unit to the concerned officers and instructed the staff to maintain a polite and compassionate attitude when dealing with the public.

The Chief Minister was briefed in detail about the working of the project and stated that this initiative is a revolutionary step toward delivering police and licensing services to the public right at their doorstep.
