Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf would not be engaging in protest politics if justice had been delivered to the party. Speaking to journalists, Afridi argued that PTI was left with no option but to take to the streets after, what he described as, repeated injustices.

He stated that political stability in the country is impossible without fair treatment of all parties. Afridi added that PTI’s demands are rooted in constitutional rights and that peaceful protest remains their democratic avenue.

His remarks triggered mixed reactions across political circles, with rivals claiming PTI is fueling unrest, while supporters insisted that the party is only demanding its due rights.
