What Are the Side Effects of Weight Loss Injections? Experts Issue Shocking Warning

Experts have warned that popular weight loss injections may bring aging 10 years earlier for users.

‎In a new study, specialists cautioned that these widely used injections could add a decade to a person’s biological age due to rapid muscle loss. According to Canadian researchers, these medications may increase the risk of weakness and falls in middle aged and older adults.

‎According to the British newspaper The Telegraph, the research revealed that the muscle loss occurring during weight reduction can, in some cases, be equivalent to the effects seen after obesity surgery, cancer treatment, or even 10 years of natural aging. One study recorded a loss of nearly 11 percent of body mass, while other evidence showed that 20 to 50 percent of weight loss was linked to loss of muscle mass.

‎Experts say that for people using these injections, performing strength exercises 2 to 3 times a week along with 150 minutes of moderate to vigorous exercise is extremely important, as it helps maintain muscle and bone mass and reduces the chances of regaining weight.

‎Researchers noted that with the growing popularity of weight loss medications, it is essential to adopt physical training alongside them to avoid potential long term damage.

‎Studies show that exercise helps preserve muscle and bone mass during and after the use of weight loss drugs, while those relying on fitness injections are advised to perform resistance exercises 2 to 3 times a week.
