Dense fog across several regions has led to a spike in traffic accidents, leaving at least five people dead and more than twenty injured. According to rescue officials, visibility dropped to near zero at multiple points, making driving extremely dangerous.

Several vehicles collided in separate incidents, with rescue teams struggling to reach some areas due to the heavy fog. Many of the injured were shifted to nearby hospitals, where emergency staff reported an unusually high influx of accident victims.

Authorities have temporarily closed major sections of the motorway to prevent further mishaps, urging citizens to avoid unnecessary travel until visibility improves. Commuters who were stranded expressed frustration but acknowledged the need for safety measures.
