Karachi: Police have arrested four suspected robbers in injured condition following an encounter in the city. The suspects were allegedly involved in committing robberies while impersonating police officers by wearing official uniforms.
According to police officials, the accused used to enter houses under the pretext of police checking and loot residents. During the encounter, two accomplices of the suspects managed to escape.
The arrested suspects have been identified as Kamran, Hamid, Imran, and Ramzan. Police recovered police uniforms, weapons, mobile phones, cash, and a motorcycle from their possession.
Authorities stated that the suspects were involved in multiple robbery incidents in the Korangi area. Police teams have been formed to apprehend the absconding suspects, who will be arrested soon and brought to justice.
