If you want to avoid heart diseases including heart attack, stroke, kidney diseases, heart failure and chronic lung diseases in life, it is very easy to do so.

‎Simply adopt a few healthy habits in your daily life. This was revealed in a medical study conducted in the United States.

‎The study, conducted by the University of Miami, included 72 individuals who were protected from Type 2 diabetes but had high blood sugar levels, and their health was monitored for 30 years.

‎The research found that positive lifestyle changes reduce the risk of developing multiple chronic diseases associated with aging.

‎These individuals were enrolled in the study between 1996 and 1999, and all of them were at a very high risk of developing Type 2 diabetes. They were then divided into three groups.

‎One group underwent lifestyle modifications, the second group was given medications to control high blood sugar levels, while a placebo was used for the third group.

‎The study found that adopting healthy habits reduced the risk of developing two or more chronic diseases by up to 21 percent over a period of more than 20 years.

‎According to the research, reducing dietary fat intake, engaging in at least 150 minutes of physical activity per week, and achieving a 7 percent reduction in body weight can lower the risk of multiple chronic diseases.

‎In contrast, individuals who used medications did not experience any significant reduction in the risk of developing two or more chronic diseases.

‎Researchers stated that preventing diabetes is very important, but protecting oneself from multiple chronic diseases is essential for maintaining quality of life.

‎The study examined 15 chronic diseases, including heart disease, hypertension, joint diseases, stroke, kidney diseases, lung diseases, cancer, depression, dementia, and diabetes.

‎They said that positive lifestyle changes reduce the risk of multiple chronic diseases such as stroke, kidney diseases, lung diseases, and heart failure.

‎The findings of the study were published in the JAMA.
