The Government of Pakistan has extended the registration deadline for the Prime Minister’s Youth Laptop Scheme. Students across the country can now apply until June 1, 2025, under this initiative.

According to a notification issued by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), the extension aims to allow more deserving students to benefit from the scheme. Previously, the last date to apply was May 15.

Under this scheme, laptops will be distributed to students enrolled in public universities, colleges, and technical institutions across Pakistan. Eligible students must apply online by visiting www.pmyp.gov.pk.

The Prime Minister’s Youth Laptop Scheme is designed to enhance digital access in education and empower the youth with essential technological tools. Thousands of students have already benefited from the initiative in previous phases.
