Syed Hasan Javed, a former ambassador and Patron of Chinese Studies in Pakistan visited Chancellor Muhammad Akbar Ali Khan of Sir Syed University of engineering and technology (SSUET) and gifted his latest books.
In the meeting, Javed presented the Chancellor with his new book, Pakistan in the 21 st Century and another publication he had previously published, Nation Building Paradoxes in India and Pakistan. Akbar Ali Khan in exchange gifted Javed the book by Muhammad Zakir Ali Khan, titled Riwayat e Aligarh.
There was a discussion on major educational and social-political issues during the visit. The two valued the need of strategic academic planning in the contemporary world.
Chancellor Akbar Ali Khan also discussed how SSUET strives to transform its academic concepts more in line with the contemporary learning patterns and demands of the job market.
Mrs. Akbar Ali Khan, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Afzal Haque and Captain (R) Pervez Iqbal were also present during the meeting.
