Post-mortem confirms: Mir Raza Ali shot from behind

Mir Raza Ali died from a single gunshot wound to the back, according to the official post-mortem report released by the medical examiner’s office this morning. The findings contradict initial claims that the victim was engaged in a face-to-face confrontation when the fire was opened.

The report details a trajectory consistent with a shot fired from behind, effectively dismissing the self-defense narrative previously offered by local law enforcement. Investigators are now reviewing forensic evidence to determine the exact distance of the shooter, though the lack of powder burns suggests the shot was fired from a range of at least several feet.

“The medical evidence is clear,” a forensic pathologist familiar with the case said. “The bullet entry point leaves no ambiguity regarding the victim’s position at the time of impact.”

The incident, which occurred late Tuesday evening, has sparked immediate outrage in the community. Family members gathered outside the station house today, demanding a shift in the investigation’s focus. They maintain that Ali was unarmed and walking away when he was struck.

Police officials have yet to issue a formal statement addressing the discrepancy between the autopsy report and their preliminary incident logs. The lead investigator has been placed on administrative leave, a standard procedure during an internal review, but the department has declined to confirm whether this is directly linked to the emerging forensic evidence.

As the investigation pivots, the focus remains on locating the weapon and reconciling the timeline of events. For the family, the autopsy isn’t just a clinical summary—it’s the start of a legal fight they say is far from over.
