The father of Mir Raza Ali has publicly challenged the authorities over the persistent delay in forming a Joint Investigation Team (JIT) to probe his son’s case. Despite repeated assurances from local officials, the file remains stalled in administrative limbo.

Mir Raza’s father, speaking at a brief press gathering Wednesday, expressed growing frustration with the lack of movement. “We’ve been promised a transparent process, yet every week brings a new excuse,” he told reporters. He argued that the delay serves only to compromise critical evidence and embolden those involved in the incident.

The legal team representing the family claims the delay is procedural, not substantive. They allege that key departments are passing the responsibility back and forth, leaving the family without a clear point of contact. For the grieving family, the silence is deliberate. They view the bureaucratic inertia as a calculated tactic to drain their resolve.

Police sources, speaking on condition of anonymity, suggest the formation of the JIT is awaiting final sign-off from provincial authorities. They maintain that the process is moving through “standard channels,” though they could not offer a timeline for when the team would actually be notified or begin its work.

The incident involving Mir Raza Ali triggered widespread public outcry, with local community leaders demanding an impartial investigation. That pressure hasn’t translated into action. Instead, the case has become a study in how administrative friction can effectively freeze a criminal inquiry.

Legal analysts observing the case note that the initial 48-hour window for evidence collection has long since closed. Any further delay in establishing a formal JIT makes the task of building a viable prosecution case exponentially harder.

The family isn’t waiting for a formal invitation to continue their campaign. They have signaled their intent to move the matter to the high court if a notification for the JIT isn’t issued by the end of the week. For now, the father remains at the center of a quiet, desperate battle against a system that seems designed to look the other way.
