Washington: Concerns over a potential space arms race are growing after the United States confirmed that it has deployed weapons in Earth’s orbit capable of supporting space-control operations.
The announcement marks a significant development in military space policy and has raised concerns among experts that the United States, China and Russia could increasingly compete to develop and deploy weapons designed to disrupt or disable each other’s satellites.
US Confirms Weapons in Orbit
