The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi, known as BIEK, has warned students about fraudulent websites and online offers claiming to change or clear examination results for money.
According to reports published on October 29, scammers allegedly offered to clear examination papers for Rs10,000 per subject and directed students to contact them through WhatsApp.
The board’s chairman, Faqir Muhammad Lakho, has denied any connection with the fake website and urged students to use only official channels for examination information.
BIEK has also reportedly approached the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency for action against the fraudulent platform.
Students are advised not to pay anyone promising to improve their results and never to share personal or banking information with unverified contacts.
