Health Minister Visits Civil Hospital Quetta, Orders Action Against Absent Staff

Balochistan Health Minister has ordered departmental action against absent staff at Civil Hospital Quetta.

‎‎Balochistan Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar paid a surprise visit to Civil Hospital late at night. He inspected the emergency department, surgery, orthopaedic, and gynecology wards. During the visit, the minister checked the duty rosters of doctors, nurses, pharmacists, ward boys, and other staff.

‎He directed strict departmental action against absent personnel and expressed displeasure over poor sanitation conditions in the gynecology ward.

‎‎Bakht Muhammad Kakar stated that health workers are public servants and negligence will not be tolerated. He emphasized that providing quality medical services to the public is a top priority. He added that the benefits of improvements in the health sector must reach the people, and available resources should be utilized more effectively.
