UAE Launches Free Heart Clinics in Rural Pakistan

On Union Pledge Day, the UAE launched a humanitarian campaign to provide free heart care in Pakistan’s rural villages. The Emirates Mobile Heart Clinics are now operating in Sindh, offering early detection and treatment of heart diseases.

The mobile units serve elderly people, women, and children—completely free of cost. Emirati and Pakistani doctors are working together under the UAE’s Young Humanitarian Leaders Programme.

These clinics offer check-ups, treatment, and health advice. The team includes heart specialists, children’s doctors, family physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and lab staff, according to Gulf News.

This is part of the UAE’s ongoing support to Pakistan, which includes 25 years of medical missions and over one million patients treated so far.

The campaign is led by the Zayed Giving Initiative, Sharjah Charity House, UAE Mobile Clinics, and the UAE Young Humanitarian Leaders Programme. It brings together government, private, and charity sectors.

Officials say the project will reach more villages in 2025 through a long-term plan. Locals have welcomed the clinics, calling them a much-needed service and a reflection of Sheikh Zayed’s humanitarian legacy.
