A recruitment drive by renowned solar energy company Anwerx Solar Energy was held at the Aligarh Institute of Technology, with more than 60 students participating.

The drive aimed to provide students with better employment opportunities after completing their education and connect them with career opportunities in the growing solar energy sector.

Interviews were conducted for graduates and third-year students from Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, and Mechanical Technology. The company’s recruitment team assessed candidates’ technical skills, knowledge, and practical abilities.

Speaking on the occasion, Aligarh Institute Principal Shahid Jameel said preparing students for the professional field alongside their education is a key priority of the institution. He said stronger links with industry can help young people find employment opportunities matching their skills.

Aligarh Institute Convener Syed Muhammad Mohsin Kazim said the Guidance Centre helped students prepare for job interviews and provided professional career guidance. He added that the DIIL department played an important role in coordinating between the company and the institute and organizing the recruitment campaign.

He said such activities help reduce the gap between educational institutions and industry while giving young people opportunities to move towards a bright professional future.
