‎According to the Health Department, a 42 year old resident of Malir has recovered and returned home from the hospital, however his 41 year old wife has now been admitted to the hospital after showing symptoms.

‎Hospital sources said that all necessary treatment facilities are being provided to the affected woman, while the good news is that no symptoms of monkeypox have been found in the children of the affected family.

‎The total number of monkeypox cases in Karachi has reached 4 this year. In view of the spread of the virus, the Health Department has issued instructions to further tighten preventive measures and remain alert across the province.
