A specialized dengue response team convened to review its recent performance and assess ongoing efforts to control the spread of the mosquito-borne disease, officials said.

The meeting, attended by health authorities and field officers, focused on evaluating surveillance systems, vector control measures, and public awareness campaigns implemented during the current season. Participants reviewed data on reported cases, response times, and the effectiveness of preventive actions in high-risk areas.

Officials highlighted improvements in early detection and coordinated field operations, noting that timely interventions helped contain outbreaks in several المناطق. However, concerns were raised over gaps in sanitation, stagnant water management, and community compliance with preventive guidelines.

During the session, the team developed a forward-looking plan aimed at strengthening dengue control efforts. Key measures include enhanced fumigation drives, stricter monitoring of hotspots, improved waste management, and expanded awareness campaigns.

Authorities also stressed the need for better coordination between local governments, health departments, and community organizations to ensure a sustained response.

Health experts warned that changing weather patterns and urban challenges could increase dengue risks, urging continued vigilance and proactive planning.

The meeting concluded with a commitment to intensify preventive measures and improve response mechanisms to minimize the impact of dengue in the coming months.
