A horrific traffic accident occurred on the Peshawar-Islamabad Motorway near the Sindh River Bridge at the Hund point, resulting in the deaths of four family members and leaving seven others injured.
According to reports, on Sunday evening, 11 members of a family, including women and children, were traveling from Peshawar to Islamabad. When their car reached the Sindh River Bridge near Hund, it lost control due to speeding and collided with a trailer ahead of it.
As a result of the crash, four individuals, including Arsalan, Amir, and two women (F) and (A), were killed on the spot. The injured include Janid, Hamdan, Miskaan, Nasreen, Bireera, Farishta, and three young girls, all of whom sustained serious injuries.
Upon receiving the report, a rescue team from Rescue 1122 Swabi immediately arrived at the scene. The rescue workers provided initial medical aid to the injured and later transferred them to Bach Khan Hospital Shah Mansur, Swabi, for further treatment. The bodies of the deceased were also sent to the hospital.
