Islamabad/Rawalpindi: In a chilling case of domestic violence, a man allegedly murdered his father and two sisters in separate attacks in Islamabad and Rawalpindi. The incident is believed to be the result of a long-standing property dispute.
According to police, the suspect, Muhammad Ali, first used a sharp-edged weapon to attack his father, Mahmood Hussain, and sister, Shabnam Zahida, in Islamabad’s Shahzad Town, killing both at the scene.
He then went to Rawalpindi, where he slit the throat of his other sister, Anjum Zahra. During the assault, he also critically injured his nephew, who is currently undergoing treatment in critical condition at a local hospital.
Investigations revealed that the murders were allegedly driven by tensions over the division of family property, which had caused discord in the family for years.
Police have launched an extensive search operation to apprehend the suspect. Authorities have described the case as one of the most shocking family crime incidents in recent memory.
