KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast hot and dry weather across most districts of Sindh over the next 24 hours. According to the department, partly cloudy skies may appear in the coastal belt, including Karachi, Thatta, and Badin, while interior regions will continue to face intense heat and dry winds.
The PMD report stated that daytime temperatures are expected to remain above normal in several parts of the province, especially in districts such as Jacobabad, Dadu, Larkana, and Sukkur. Meteorologists warned that the lack of moisture and persistent heat could increase discomfort levels, particularly during afternoon hours.
In Karachi, the weather is likely to stay warm and humid, with maximum temperatures hovering around 34 to 36 degrees Celsius. Light sea breezes are expected to provide some relief during the evening, though overall conditions will remain warm. The department also mentioned that there is no significant chance of rainfall in the province during the forecast period.
