Increase Dengue Cases in Karachi ‎

Dengue cases are continuously increasing in Karachi. According to the Health Department, 23 new cases of dengue have been reported in the city during the last 7 days.

‎The Health Department stated that so far this year, 420 people in Karachi alone have been affected by dengue.

‎According to the spokesperson of the Health Department, during this year 85 cases were reported in January, 53 in February, 27 in March, 38 in April, a total of 120 in May, June and July, while 74 dengue cases were reported in August.

‎The statistics show that a total of 489 dengue cases have been reported across Sindh this year, out of which two patients have died.

‎The Health Department has advised citizens to take precautionary measures and not to ignore protective steps against mosquitoes.
