JAMSHORO: Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS) has announced admissions for 49 postgraduate programs for the 2027 academic session. The programs cover medical, dental, public health, biomedical sciences, and other allied health disciplines.
According to the university’s admission notice, online applications will be accepted from **October 27 to November 16, 2026**. Interested candidates must apply through the university’s postgraduate admission portal and meet the eligibility requirements for their selected programs.
The university is offering **12 PhD programs, 10 MPhil programs, 12 master’s-level programs, 14 postgraduate diploma programs, and one certificate course**. Program durations range from six months to three years.
The PhD options include Physiology, Oncology, Haematology, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Engineering, and Public Health Sciences. MPhil programs are available in subjects such as Anatomy, Pathology, Physiology, Pharmacology, Physical Therapy, and Biomedical Science.
Master’s-level options include Public Health, Medical Research, Nursing, Health Professions Education, Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy, Endocrinology and Diabetes, and Biomedical Science. The university is also offering postgraduate dentistry programs, including Orthodontics, Prosthodontics, Operative Dentistry, Community Dentistry, and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
The postgraduate diploma category includes courses in Child Health, Cardiology, Dermatology, Family Medicine, Psychiatry, Ophthalmology, Anaesthesiology, Gynaecology and Obstetrics, and other medical specialties. A six-month Certificate Course in Ultrasonology is also available.
The application processing and entry test fee is **Rs. 7,500**, which is non-refundable. Applicants should review the admission requirements and required documents for their chosen program before submitting the online form.
