PESHAWAR, October 14, 2026: The authorities have made biometric verification through the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) mandatory for all ZuPeshawar cards, in a move aimed at strengthening passenger identification and improving the transparency of the public transport system.

Under the new requirement, cardholders will need to complete biometric verification to ensure that their cards are linked to valid identities. The measure is intended to help prevent misuse, improve the accuracy of passenger records and strengthen the management of the transport card system.

Passengers are advised to follow official instructions regarding the verification process, including any deadlines, required documents and designated verification centres.

Further details about the implementation schedule and arrangements for passengers who have not completed verification should be confirmed through official ZuPeshawar or relevant transport authority announcements.

Note: The specific deadline and verification procedure should be checked against the latest official notification.
