KUWAIT CITY — A notorious vehicle thief has been arrested by the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior after allegedly stealing a citizen’s car that was left running outside a medical clinic in Jahra. The incident came to light after the victim reported that an unknown individual had driven off with his vehicle, which had been left unattended with the engine running for a brief duration. Detectives from the Jahra Governorate Criminal Investigation Department launched an immediate search operation, utilizing surveillance footage to trace the suspect’s movements.
The investigation quickly led to the identification and subsequent arrest of the suspect, with police successfully recovering the stolen vehicle from his possession. Background checks revealed that the accused is a repeat offender with a history of vehicle thefts.
