The Rawalpindi Board has recorded the lowest pass percentage among Punjab’s nine educational boards in the 9th Class Result 2026, according to an analysis of official result gazettes.
A total of 121,739 candidates appeared in the examination under the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi. Of these, 45,724 students passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 37.56%.
With this performance, Rawalpindi Board secured 9th position among Punjab’s nine boards. Its pass rate was 0.90 percentage points lower than Bahawalpur Board, which recorded the second-lowest result at 38.46%.

Multan Board achieved the highest pass percentage, with 73,301 out of 140,675 candidates passing the examination. The difference between Multan and Rawalpindi’s pass rates stands at 14.55 percentage points.
Overall Punjab Results
Across all nine Punjab boards, 1,395,575 students appeared in the 9th Class examinations, while 641,662 candidates passed. This gives Punjab a combined pass percentage of approximately 45.98%.
