Riyadh: Saudi Arabia has introduced new regulations for instant work visas aimed at simplifying and accelerating the recruitment process for foreign workers.

According to official sources, the updated system is designed to reduce processing time and improve efficiency in issuing employment visas for skilled and semi-skilled workers. The move is part of broader efforts to modernize the labor market and support economic diversification under ongoing reforms.

The new rules are expected to benefit both employers and foreign job seekers by making the visa process faster, more transparent, and more streamlined. Authorities also emphasized that compliance and verification measures will remain in place to ensure proper documentation and eligibility standards.

Officials said the initiative reflects the kingdom’s commitment to improving labor mobility while maintaining regulatory oversight and workforce quality.
