In a move to provide better healthcare services for Hajj 2025 pilgrims, Saudi Arabia has inaugurated a specialized dialysis section at the King Fahad Kidney Center (KFKC) in Madinah.
According to an APP report, the Madinah Health Cluster has set up this facility specifically for pilgrims suffering from kidney-related illnesses. The initiative aims to deliver high-quality medical care aligned with the pilgrims’ schedules, ensuring convenient and timely treatment.
This step is part of the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts to enhance healthcare services for Hajj pilgrims, allowing them to perform their religious duties in good health and with ease.
Equipped with advanced medical technology, the new section houses 13 dialysis machines capable of handling over 26 sessions daily. A skilled team of healthcare professionals will oversee the operations, maintaining top standards of safety, care, and efficiency.
Ahead of the pilgrims’ arrival, the Health Cluster coordinated with accompanying medical missions to collect detailed health reports. This pre-planning enables immediate scheduling of dialysis sessions upon arrival, reducing wait times and easing transportation challenges for the patients.
