The support of the Sindh Professors and Lecturers Association (SPLA) to the protest held by the All Sindh Employees Alliance on June 23 at Karachi Press Club is very strong. The responsibility of the protest is the inability of the Sindh Government to provide all government employees with Disparity Reduction Allowance in the annual budget 2025-26, and it is also unwilling to increase salaries of employees by 50% amongst other expectations.

SPLA will stand alongside all the organizations of the employees in the fight over the survival and rights of all the employees in Sindh. College lecturers will also be playing an active role in the protest to be held tomorrow at Karachi press club.

Prof. Shoukat Samoo

SPLA Central Press Secretary (CPS)
