The USD finished the month trading at 277.8036 in the ready market, shifting just roughly six paisas over the final days from 277.8618 on July 27. However, other major currencies saw notable fluctuations: the British Pound (GBP) surged substantially to 373.4513 from 370.5149, wiping out earlier weekly gains, while the Canadian Dollar (CAD) climbed nearly a full rupee to close at 198.1481. Regional and Gulf currencies also saw slight adjustments, with the Saudi Riyal (SAR) closing at 73.9843, the UAE Dirham (AED) at 75.6422, and the Euro (EUR) settling at 319.7797, as the local currency concluded July with mixed momentum across international pairs.
