SWAT — At least seven people were killed and 18 others injured on Sunday in a suicide bombing outside the gate of the Kabal police station in Swat. According to the District Police Officer (DPO), the explosion occurred when police personnel attempted to stop and search the suspected bomber at the station’s entrance. The powerful blast triggered multiple casualties amidst a large public protest at Kabal Chowk against a recent surge in terrorist violence across the valley. Rescue teams swiftly transferred the injured to Saidu Sharif Teaching Hospital, while heavy security forces cordoned off the area to launch a comprehensive search and evidence-collection operation.
