Two women shot dead in Bharakahu area; police register murder case.

Islamabad: Two women were shot dead in the Bharakahu police jurisdiction, prompting police to register a murder case and launch an investigation.

According to police officials, a First Information Report (FIR) has been registered on the complaint of Abdul Aziz, husband of one of the victims, identified as Asma Aziz.

The FIR states that Asma had gone to visit her sister at her residence when an unidentified man allegedly entered the house and opened fire, killing two women on the spot.

One of the deceased women has left behind a three-year-old child among the bereaved family members.

Police said that investigations are underway to trace the suspect, while further legal proceedings are in progress.
