Son Among Two Arrested for Murdering Father in Islamabad’s Tarnol Area

ISLAMABAD: Police from Tarnol Police Station and the Homicide Unit have arrested two suspects, including a son, for allegedly killing his father in Islamabad.

According to police, the accused, identified as Suleman Khan alias Jabir Khan and Abdullah, opened fire on the victim, Hayat Khan, within the jurisdiction of Tarnol Police Station, resulting in his death.

Investigators used modern technology and scientific methods to trace and apprehend the suspects. Police also recovered the murder weapon — a pistol — from their possession.

DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq stated that the accused will be presented in court and punished in accordance with the law based on strong evidence.
