A woman killed her husband and niece in Lahore on suspicion of having an illicit relationship.

According to media reports, a woman in Lahore’s Baghbanpura area killed her husband and 16-year-old niece with a sharp-edged weapon on suspicion of illicit relations.

It has been reported that the woman Zainab suspected an alleged illicit relationship between her husband and niece, upon which the woman attacked her husband Shaukat with a sharp-edged weapon and killed not only her 50-year-old husband but also her niece.

Police officials say that as soon as the other members of the family received information about the double murder, the police reached the spot and immediately arrested the accused Zainab along with the murder weapon.

While the bodies of the victims were taken into custody and shifted to the morgue for post-mortem, the police suspect that other members of the family also assisted the woman in the incident.
