KARACHI – A team of doctors at Lyari General Hospital successfully removed a 10kg tumor from a 40-year-old woman’s stomach after a complex surgery.
According to Dawn News, the woman, a resident of Lyari, had been suffering from stomach pain for six years.
Several hospitals had refused to operate due to the risks involved.
However, doctors at Lyari General Hospital took on the challenge and carried out the surgery successfully.
Dr. Anjum, Principal of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Medical College, said that three expert teams worked together during the procedure.
