PESHAWAR – The newly elected Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sohail Afridi, will take the oath of office today at the Governor House in Peshawar. The ceremony is expected to draw political leaders, senior officials, and members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), who see Afridi’s leadership as the beginning of a new political chapter for the province.

Party supporters have expressed excitement and optimism, hoping that Afridi’s tenure will bring progress, stability, and better governance. Preparations for the event have been completed under tight security, and officials say the ceremony will reflect the province’s democratic spirit.

Observers believe that Afridi’s performance as Chief Minister will be closely watched, as citizens look forward to tangible steps in areas such as education, healthcare, and job creation.
