Practical Launch of Free Kidney Transplant Facility at Jinnah Hospital

In a significant step toward the vision of the Punjab Chief Minister, the practical launch of free kidney transplant services has begun at Jinnah Hospital.

‎A successful kidney transplant operation was carried out at Jinnah Hospital Lahore, marking the first transplant after receiving a license from the Punjab Healthcare Commission.

‎Twenty three year old patient Irfan received a kidney donation from his maternal aunt. Both the patient and the donor are reported to be in satisfactory condition and are recovering rapidly.

‎Principal Allama Iqbal Medical College Dr Tayyaba Wasim congratulated the urology department team on achieving this major success.
