The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has officially activated its Student Registration Portal for the 2025–26 academic session, directing all public and private medical and dental colleges across the country to register newly admitted students through the online system. The initiative is aimed at improving transparency, strengthening regulatory oversight, and maintaining accurate records of students enrolled in recognized institutions.
According to the PMDC, every medical and dental college is required to upload the complete details of students admitted for the 2025–26 session within the prescribed timeframe. The online portal has been introduced to streamline the registration process, ensure compliance with PMDC regulations, and facilitate efficient verification of admissions.
The council emphasized that only students enrolled in PMDC-recognized medical and dental colleges will be eligible for registration. Institutions have been instructed to ensure that all submitted information is accurate and complete to avoid delays or complications in the admission process.
PMDC officials said the digital registration system is part of the council’s broader efforts to modernize medical education governance through technology. The portal is expected to reduce paperwork, improve record management, and enable better monitoring of admissions across Pakistan’s medical and dental institutions.
Students have been advised to confirm with their respective colleges that their admission details have been uploaded successfully and to regularly check PMDC notifications for any further instructions regarding the registration process. The council has reiterated that timely registration is essential for maintaining students’ academic records and ensuring compliance with national medical education regulations.
