An encounter took place between Clifton Police and suspects near Hyperstar during a routine patrol. The police signaled three motorcyclists to stop, but the suspects opened fire on the police.
In retaliatory action, two suspects were apprehended without any injuries, while one suspect managed to escape.
The arrested suspects were found in possession of one pistol, along with live rounds, and a stolen motorcycle recovered from the limits of Boat Basin Police Station.
The arrested suspects have been identified as Abdul Nawazibullah, son of Khan Badshah. The identity of the escaped suspect is yet to be determined, and he is named as Nasir, son of an unknown individual.
Authorities are checking the criminal records of the arrested suspects, and further legal action is underway. Efforts are being made to arrest the fleeing suspect.
