Cristiano Ronaldo has once again rewritten football history, becoming the first player ever to score 100 competitive goals for four different clubs — Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus, and Al-Nassr.
The landmark strike came during the Saudi Super Cup final in Hong Kong on August 23, when Ronaldo converted a penalty to notch his 100th goal for Al-Nassr. His celebration was short-lived, however, as Al-Ahli fought back to force a 2-2 draw before clinching the trophy in a penalty shootout.
Despite the defeat, Ronaldo’s achievement overshadowed the result. No other footballer has ever managed to hit the century mark at so many clubs — a testament to his remarkable consistency across different leagues and eras.
The numbers themselves are staggering:
Real Madrid: 450 goals
Manchester United: 145 goals
Juventus: 101 goals
Al-Nassr: 100 goals (and counting)
With this milestone, the Portuguese icon further cements his status as one of the greatest goal scorers in football history. His relentless hunger for records has kept him at the top of the game well into his late 30s.
Speaking after the game, Ronaldo reflected on the achievement with pride. “It’s always about pushing limits, always about setting new standards,” he said. “I’m grateful to my teammates, the fans, and the clubs that have been part of this journey.”
At 40, Ronaldo shows little sign of slowing down. If anything, this latest record only adds to the legend of a player whose career has been defined by rewriting what many thought was impossible.
