Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has emphasized the importance of early diagnosis in the fight against brain tumors, stating that timely detection can significantly improve treatment outcomes and save lives.

In a message highlighting awareness about brain tumors, Maryam Nawaz said that many patients can benefit from effective treatment if the disease is identified in its early stages. She stressed the need to educate the public about common warning signs, including persistent headaches, vision problems, seizures, and unexplained changes in behavior or memory.

The Chief Minister noted that access to quality healthcare services, modern diagnostic facilities, and specialist care plays a crucial role in ensuring patients receive prompt treatment. She also reaffirmed the Punjab government’s commitment to strengthening healthcare infrastructure and expanding access to medical services across the province.

Medical experts support the emphasis on early diagnosis, explaining that brain tumors are often more manageable when detected before they progress. They encourage individuals experiencing persistent neurological symptoms to seek medical evaluation without delay.

Maryam Nawaz called on healthcare institutions, medical professionals, and community organizations to work together to promote awareness, improve screening and diagnostic services, and support patients and their families throughout the treatment process.
