In connection with World Sight Day, the Layton Rahmatulla Benevolent Trust (LRBT) organized a free eye camp at the Chief Minister’s House.

‎According to the spokesperson of the Chief Minister of Sindh, the eye camp was inaugurated by Secretary to the CM, Abdul Rahim Sheikh. A large number of officers and employees of the Chief Minister’s House participated in the camp.

‎On the occasion, Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah emphasized the importance of eye protection and timely check ups, stating that eyes are one of nature’s priceless blessings.

‎He said that creating public awareness regarding eye health is a commendable step. The Sindh government will continue to provide full support for public health initiatives, and collective efforts are needed to protect vision.

‎He further stated that neglecting eye health is equivalent to dimming one’s own life, adding that public awareness campaigns are the foundation of a healthy society.

‎Secretary Abdul Rahim Sheikh said that, on the directives of the Chief Minister Sindh, the eye camp was organized under the theme “Roshan Nazar, Roshan Mustaqbil” (Bright Vision, Bright Future). He also acknowledged LRBT’s significant role in restoring vision.
