Millions of people around the world enjoy tea and coffee, and science has confirmed several health benefits of these drinks.

A new study has now revealed that having tea or coffee in the morning can help improve mood and make people feel happier.

The research, published in the journal Scientific Reports, involved 236 young participants who were monitored for four weeks.

They filled out daily questionnaires, and results showed that drinking tea or coffee did not increase depression, anxiety, or sleep issues. Instead, it improved their overall mood.

Experts noted that while tea and coffee have positive effects, consuming too much caffeine can harm health and disturb sleep, so moderation is important.
