The Pakistan Forest Institute (PFI), Peshawar, has officially opened admissions for its BS Forestry program, inviting applications from students interested in pursuing higher education in forestry, environmental conservation, and natural resource management. The institute is recognized as one of Pakistan’s leading institutions dedicated to forestry education and research.

According to the admission announcement, eligible candidates who have completed their Intermediate (FSc Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, ICS, or equivalent qualifications) with the required academic performance can apply for the undergraduate program. Admissions will be offered strictly on merit, with shortlisted candidates required to complete the institute’s admission process within the prescribed schedule.

The four-year BS Forestry degree is designed to equip students with knowledge and practical skills in forest ecology, biodiversity conservation, climate change, watershed management, wildlife conservation, environmental protection, and sustainable management of natural resources. Students will also receive field training, research opportunities, and exposure to modern forestry practices.

The institute encouraged students passionate about environmental protection and climate resilience to apply before the deadline. Officials stated that graduates of the program can pursue careers in government forestry departments, environmental protection agencies, wildlife organizations, research institutions, NGOs, and international environmental organizations.

Interested applicants have been advised to carefully review the eligibility criteria, required documents, and application procedures before submitting their admission forms within the announced deadline.
