HYDERABAD — Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has firmly rejected Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi’s proposal regarding the creation of new provinces, asserting that the people of Sindh will never accept such a division. Addressing the media during his visit to attend the annual Urs of Sufi poet Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai, CM Murad dismissed the proposal as a “worn-out and recycled idea” and questioned the political implications behind the statement, noting the PML-N’s leadership at the federal level. Turning to national politics, he maintained that boycotting elections is never a solution, defended the youth of the country by stating they “are not cockroaches,” and highlighted that the Pakistan Peoples Party remains steadfast on the rights of Kashmiris, aligning with Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s stance. Additionally, the chief minister announced that the Sindh government has successfully recovered the misappropriated funds involved in the Hyderabad-Sukkur Motorway corruption case.
