A passenger arriving on an international airline flight has shown symptoms of the monkeypox virus.
According to airport sources, the passenger arrived in Karachi from Saudi Arabia via a foreign airline flight, where screening for the monkeypox virus was conducted at the airport.
Airport sources said that during screening, the passenger was found to have fever and rashes on the body, while he also complained of having a continuous fever for the past five days.
According to airport sources, due to the symptoms of the monkeypox virus, the Sindh government has shifted the passenger to the Infectious Diseases Hospital in NIPA.
