To receive Rs100,000 through the CM Punjab Rahmat Card, an applicant must first qualify under the Punjab government’s official eligibility rules for the scheme, which is meant for Zakat-deserving widows and double-parent orphans in Punjab. The official program page says applications can be submitted through the Rahmat Card web portal, the CM Punjab Rahmat Card mobile app, or by calling helpline 1077.
The first step is checking eligibility. According to the official criteria, the applicant must be a needy Muslim widow or an eligible orphan without both parents, must not be a government employee or pensioner, must not be Sahib-e-Nisab, must not be a habitual beggar, and must not already be receiving regular financial aid from another Punjab government scheme. Final selection is linked to the Punjab Socio-Economic Registry (PSER) and PMT-based verification.
Applicants also need the right documents. The official page says widows must provide an updated and valid CNIC showing widow status, while orphan applicants need a B-Form. Incorrect or outdated records can create problems during verification, so matching the application details with official records is important.
After that, the applicant can apply through the official channels. The registration portal listed by the Punjab Zakat & Ushr Department is rahmatcard.punjab.gov.pk, and the same department says the mobile app and 1077 helpline are also official routes for registration and guidance.
The amount most clearly confirmed on the official material is Rs100,000 for widows. The Urdu version of the official page also indicates financial assistance for eligible orphan children, but the wording around orphan amounts appears inconsistent in some unofficial reporting, so the safest confirmed figure for a “Rs1 lac” headline is the widow payment stated on the government scheme page.
One important point: applying does not automatically guarantee approval. The official page says district allocations are made on the basis of population, and beneficiaries are selected on merit using PSER and PMT data. That means only verified eligible applicants are chosen under the available quota.
Use only the official portal, app, or 1077. Do not rely on agents or private websites claiming guaranteed approval or asking for fees, because the official registration process is government-run.
