MIRPUR KHAS: Sheikh Ramish, a first year Software Technology student at Aligarh Institute of Technology (AIT), clinched first position at the grand All Pakistan Speech Competition held in Mirpur Khas, where students from 50 universities and colleges nationwide participated.
The event’s theme was “The Greatness of Umar (RA) and Hussain (RA),” and Ramish impressed the audience and judges alike with his powerful and well-reasoned speech. Along with the top honor, he was awarded an Umrah ticket.
Expressing his gratitude, Ramish said the award was more than a prize it was a responsibility. “Speaking on the greatness of Umar (RA) and Hussain (RA) was an expression of my faith and devotion. I dedicate this success to my parents, teachers, and AIT’s guidance,” he said, adding that he aspires to make Pakistan proud on a global level.
AIT Principal Shahid Jamil congratulated him, praising his hard work, passion, and confidence, while AIT Convener Syed Muhammad Mohsin Kazim remarked that Ramish’s victory had brought immense pride to the institute.
